History

The production plant was constructed by Spanish company Cegasa in early 1980-ies and was considered to be the sole supplier of Electrolytic Manganese Dioxide for battery industry of all Soviet states. After collapses of Soviet Union in 90-ies EMD production was ceased due to close up of all former soviet battery plants. From 90-ies company has started production and sales worldwide of Natural Manganese Dioxide powder, Feed Grade Manganous Oxide and Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate.

Nowadays

The plant was acquired by GeMn Company LLC in 2007. Immediately afterwards, GeMn Company started investing to improve both quality and capacity. At the moment company produces Manganous Oxide (MnO) and Natural Manganese Dioxide (MnO2) powder in vast Quantities.

Quality

MnChemical Georgia LLC is operated in accordance of ISO 9001:2008. MnChemical Georgia LLC’s staff has a long time experience of manganese compounds production. Georgian high quality manganese ore, with high content of manganese and very low content of harmful impurities is an additional advantage for the company. MnChemical Georgia LLC’s modern technology ensures very low content of Dioxin’s, Furans and PCB’s in the product.

Logistic

We can easily load containers, trucks or rail wagons;

We have our own container terminal for ZIM and MAERSK shipping lines, with the railway access, which allows us to arrange logistic procedures faster and effectively.

Development

The company has possibility to develop Manganese Sulfate Monohydrate, Manganese Nitrate, Manganese Carbonate and other Manganese oxides and salt productions.
